This is fiber that has been degummed and is ready for dye, carding, or spinning from the fluff. It comes from the cocoons that had the moth emerge from so the fiber is a slightly off-white color and not a continuous strand. I process the fiber using a passive solar water heater so no fuel or electricity was use in the processing. Sold by the 1oz bag.
